Our professional land surveying services

Boundary Surveys

Boundary surveying is the process of determining, locating, and marking the legal boundaries of a property using field measurements, physical evidence, deeds, plats, and the property’s legal description. In our professional land surveying services across Western North Carolina, permanent improvements are located and mapped so you clearly understand what lies on your land. It is performed to establish property corners and boundary lines and to identify potential easements, rights-of-way, and encroachments; missing corner markers are replaced and a boundary map (plat) is prepared.

Report of Survey

A report of survey is a boundary survey without the location of permanent improvements. It is performed to establish property corners and boundary lines, missing corners are replaced and a report is provided without a map or plat. Typically done to build fences or to stake property lines.

Elevation Certificates

A document prepared by a licensed surveyor that records a building’s elevations and location relative to the Base Flood Elevation (BFE). It is commonly used to determine flood risk, insurance requirements, and compliance with floodplain regulations.

Topographic Survey

A survey that identifies and maps the elevations and physical features of a property, such as buildings, roads, trees, utilities, drainage features, and changes in ground elevation.

Loan Surveys

A survey prepared for a lender that shows the property boundaries, improvements, easements, rights-of-way, and other relevant features to help verify the property securing a loan.

As-built Survey

Verification of construction accuracy against original plans, documenting the final physical state of a project for future reference.

Subdivision Survey

Designing and mapping the division of land into smaller lots for residential or commercial development, ensuring compliance with local zoning laws.

Residential Construction Staking

Marking the precise location of proposed buildings, utilities, and other structures on-site to guide the construction process according to technical plans.
